how to write a novel
how to write a novel

The real task of writing a battle scene on a large scale is taking a large amount of visual information in writing and describe clearly. This can be a challenge, but here are some ways to help you do it in a way that is understandable and enjoyable for your reader.

Draw up a map
Â
This is the most important thing you can do. You must draw a map for your own use. It is very important for you to be able to clearly visualize the battlefield, the location of the combatants, and benchmarks Thea different. Ask yourself some questions to draw the map. Where are the hills, mountains, streams and rivers? Are there any unusual features the land should be considered? Are there any unusual terrain characteristics that are specific to the fantasy world he created? Are there bridges on the rivers? Are there buildings, castles or other structures? You should make these structures right at map.es And if house or a tower is a central figure in the battle to be prepared in such detail that possible. These things are all very important because they are military positions, terrain, structures, bridges and other things all affect how the battle is fought.
Â
Do deal with the fluidity of the battlefield
Â
A great battle is not static or a single entity event. There many things happening over time, which could be hours, days or even weeks.ES This fluidity and all the variables of change can lead to information overload and confusion in the reader. What can you do to help you to better describe what happens in a period of time is to make the simulation itself a small table top battlefield. You can draw the ground where then add the objects representing buildings, monuments, and the troops. It is exactly what the generals to do and is something you can do to keep things clear and precise.
Â
Perspective changes
Â
His novel may be written in first person or third person omnipresent, you may want to keep using that pattern, but in a great battle is often a good idea to switch between these two views. This change may add suspense and paint a rich picture for your readers. The first order person can jump from person to person or through the enemy lines between "bad" children and "good". This will give an emotional impact the battle.
Â
Using a view in the third person of the battle will give an impression of grandeur and make it more epic of the battle. You can do this just as pervasive in May third party or even do it from the perspective of the first person of a bird or a General Dragon Flight. The view in the third person may also be an excellent tool to create suspense in the battle. The reader may feel anxious and worried to crow flies if you know there is a secret attack from behind you can see, but the warriors on the battlefield can not see.
Â
Logistics Management and the Battle Mechanics
Â
One of the most important things you should consider whether was a major battle is the logistics of everything. Every general in the real world concerns about the logistics of doing things where they should be. The troops must move and it takes time. And the troops need food, water, and all sorts of other things as weapons, clothing, first aid and the list goes on and on. They also need to provide recreation camp and sleep. Remember these things and plan accordingly. The shortage of materials can also make the spots very intense. Â real wars and battles are won or lost depending strictly on the availability of supplies. In use.
Â
Magic, elves, dwarves, and other strange things in his novel and battle
Â
You write a fantasy novel that chances are good that you have all kinds of fancy things in it. Things like magic, elves, dwarves, dragons, and anything that arouses their imagination. And all these things can be a cornerstone of its battle scene, but beware. Although that is a fantasy world that you created, you still have to follow rules that make sense. What is the point if a sorcerer can cast a spell that kills all enemies? A or if you have creatures that are so well armored that they are virtually invincible? Everything must be limits and all that should have consequences. If the wizard put in the terrible fate and die too? This would be an interesting twist. What if the creatures moved armored irresistibly to a crawl and are very susceptible to fire. What I mean? Limitations and standards that add to the history and theater.
Â
And your creatures may have different needs logistics. Elves need to sleep twenty hours a day or dwarfs May useless in the day and Dragons may need food special is difficult.
Â
In short, a fantastic fight on a large scale is a complex organism that moves in many different ways and that, as the author, the need to maintain all the information directly into your mind so you can make clear to the reader. This must happen in a way that makes sense.

Do I need a certain type of sodtware write a novel?

Today, I decided to write a novel. Seriously think I can do and then I shall publish. I (like most people) have MS Word, but I was wondering if a publisher will only make fun of me for talking. Is it necessary to use special software to do this?

You can type book in MS Word. Click on the image of a open book basis to full screen to set screen reading. You can change the design at any time during the writing process. By the way, some authors still use typewriters.
