New teachers often put in 12-16 hours per day during their first year of teaching. This daily routine can be very stressful during the first year.
As the two categories of planning depends on what happened during the previous lessons, a lesson is too difficult to plan in advance. However, strategies are short and long term that new teachers can easily use to help face their first year before teaching has on their lives.
Lesson Planning - Long Term Strategies
Long-term strategies are decisions about lesson with academic goals. For example, when the teacher wants her students to be in a month? Two months time? Using the curriculum and text books are excellent starting points to help collect and fill gaps in knowledge of students. Again, it is also important from the lesson plan this week that students can actually To maintain long-term goal in mind.
Long-term strategies also relate to educational decisions. Maybe that new teachers in May want to train their students to work more collaboratively. Over time, he or she may begin to feel more comfortable pair of the application or group work to help promote certain educational values such as tolerance and acceptance of differences.
The other long-term decisions
Take your time at the end of the week or month to catch up on "Where You Are" regarding planning decisions in the long term lesson. What additional materials to add?
- If there is a book What equipment should we teach? (4th grade special education)
- How should we split the material between semesters?
- How should we deal with specific areas such as reading extensively?
Consult often work with a mentor or teacher who teaches similar classes. You will not regret it!

Ideas for a lesson plan for Finding Nemo?
I have a book "Finding Nemo, which has been condensed so that I lose not children's attention. I also thought to play the mass of fish, fish color and place them in an aquarium (fish tank painted on paper) and a search for Finding Nemo, with some tracks that lead children to find Nemo. Does anyone have an idea that could be used a lesson in Finding Nemo? Children 3-5 years (there is also a 1 year, but I'm doing something else with it)
